Ariel National Center for Leadership Development

The Ariel National Center for Leadership Development is an outdoor, experiential learning facility unmatched in Israel. Based on a similar park in North California, the Center is geared towards the enhancement and strengthening of leadership skills, intellectual and physical stamina, and teamwork through the use of obstacle courses, including an alpine tower, ropes courses, a climbing wall and others.
 
Israel’s Ministry of Education has partnered with the City of Ariel to develop the Center’s curriculum and to accommodate students from across the country. Over 15,000 people utilize the Center annually, including elite units of the IDF and Israeli police force. The curriculum draws upon Jewish heritage and the Hebrew Bible to instill within both trainers and participants a values-based approach to leadership development.
